Keeping Your Wedding Day Memories Alive

Keeping Your Wedding Day Memories Alive

I found this week’s post by Laura Downs on the Weddingbells Blog to be pretty interesting. Weddings can be costly and time consuming to plan, then when the big day is finally here, the festivities seem to end in the blink of an eye. You maybe had family and friends, who you haven’t seen in years, visiting from out of town, funny and embarrassing stories that will keep you smiling for a long time or even certain memories that you’d hope can live on forever. Take a look at a few pointers by Weddingbells for ways in which you can keep these memories alive.

  1. The Time Capsule…
  2. Framing…
  3. Wine Bottles…
  4. Preserving Your Dress…
  5. Drying Your Flowers…
  6. Freezing Your Wedding Cake…
  7. Custom Wedding Art…
  8. Something Blue…

And I’d like to add #9

  1. Raw Video Footage – It’s great to have a professional Videographer capture your entire day into a 15 minute romantic video, with special effects and soft instrumentals in the background. However, NOTHING beats the hours of raw footage of the entire day. Every bit of excitement or drama that you most likely missed out on would be captured and available at your fingertips. It’s always fun to reminisce once a year and bring that one special day back to life!
